Jane (she/her) is passionate about people, the planet, and sustainable and equitable transportation. She has worked and studied in environmental-focused areas, including transportation, air quality, urban policy over the past decade.
Martin is spokesperson for the Ride-Sharing Association for Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. He studied computer science at RWTH Aachen and has built a career spanning computer vision & AI, 3D CAD development, and large-scale enterprise management systems, with a strong focus on software quality and governance. Deeply engaged in non-profit work, Martin remains an active board member of organizations supporting fair trade and development projects in Haiti. Married with three adult children, he balances his commitments with personal passions such as tennis, e-biking, and playing Doppelkopf.
By joining the Roam team, Christian can put to work his analytical skills as a trained mathematician, his experience as a successful founder, and his passion as an environmentalist. When not doing math, he engages in his urban reforestation project or enjoys studying the Icelandic language and literature.
Outside of work, Estefanny enjoys hiking with her dog, joining city book clubs, and staying active in climate and cycling groups. At Roam, she brings clarity to complex data as a Data Analyst and Researcher, drawing on her background in urban planning and sustainable development. Her passion for community fuels her mission to make data more meaningful for better, smarter ways to move around.
A career of brand-focused creative direction has kept me focused on art, copy, and content to reach the audience with a true and compelling message within a design that resonates with them. When I’m not advocating for a new world with true ridesharing at the Roam™ marketplace, you’ll probably find me shifting gears in a standard transmission 5-speed on my way from Oakland to the Berkeley Tennis Club. I’m inspired to make ridesharing simple, reliable, and genuinely enjoyable by digging into technical details that make the app feel effortless both behind the wheel and in the passenger seat. My first startup of five+ years led me to co-found the Roam™ Marketplace and I also serve on the board of the German Ridesharing Association. Outside of work, you may find me skiing, sailing, or tinkering with new tech. Splitting time in Paris, Brussels, and Germany, my international outlook shapes how I approach challenges—openly, persistently, and always moving forward.
Our human connections are special. They make a meaningful impact on all of us. In this context, a trip is just a means to a larger end. But what if “getting there” was easier, more affordable, and also special? It might lead to “being there” more often, for all of us. This is why our venture is all about community.
